An uncomfortable subject for Loudoun County CPS is the issue of recanting of abuse by a child. I hope it is very clear to the reader now that Sandra Glenney and Dr. Mary Lindahl’s ultimate goal is to find abuse and not the truth.  In a specific case , the patient of Lindahl recanted 9 times , Lindahl failed to inform the Court or anyone for that matter.

Those in Glenney’s camp , by camp I mean her handpicked psychologists, refuse to believe that children recant abuse. When someone like Glenney and Lindahl hear  a child recant in a therapeutic setting they simply ignore and suppress it.   They will most assuredly not inform the defendant or their counsel. Lindahl and Glenney are two professionals that in reality should be prevented from having any interaction with children, they both live in a demon haunted world that is not governed by reason; they pose a risk to children.

It is important to know the history of false accusations and the incredible pressure that people like the accusing parent and those in authority place on a child to make false accusations. I will provide very tragic examples, I highly recommend becoming acquainted with the following cases.

Kyle Zirpolo, a primary accuser in the now  infamous McMartin Scandal issued a very sincere apology for his part in the McMartin case. Please read the full article, Mr. Zirpolo elaborates on the issues he experienced by being forced to create accusations that never happened. It was not his fault, he was harassed and harangued into making false accusations.

I remember them asking extremely uncomfortable questions about whether Ray touched me and about all the teachers and what they did–and I remember telling them nothing happened to me. I remember them almost giggling and laughing, saying, “Oh, we know these things happened to you. Why don’t you just go ahead and tell us? Use these dolls if you’re scared.”

Anytime I would give them an answer that they didn’t like, they would ask again and encourage me to give them the answer they were looking for. It was really obvious what they wanted. I know the types of language they used on me: things like I was smart, or I could help the other kids who were scared.

As you can see most interviewers with CPS refuse to take no for an answer, as in the case of Kyle Zirpolo. Lets take it a step further , most interviewers with CPS are incredibly biased and very poorly trained; this is applicable to Lindahl and Glenney as well.

Lets move on the next example of how the authorities manipulated a child into making false accusations. The next example is Ed Sampley , who was a child accuser from the numerous cases in Bakersfield, California.  I would highly recommend watching the movie  “Witch Hunt” directed by Sean Penn, it provides insight into the unethical behavior of many prosecutors and psychologists.  Sampley makes it clear that as a child he was pressured by investigators to make a false accusations.

In part, Sampley, now 28 and a worker for a commercial-sign maker, is haunted by his own role. ”Why couldn’t I withstand the pressure?” he says. ”I didn’t smoke when I was pressured by my friends. But when I was pressured by the investigators, I broke down. I still search for that moment I gave in.” He is also haunted by how the investigation distorted his trust . Several years ago, he realized that each time his stepdaughter, then 6, invited friends to the house, he shut himself in his bedroom; he didn’t want to play with strangers’ kids or even be around them. For a year, he also wouldn’t give his own daughter, now 3, a bath. ”I’m afraid of somebody saying something that isn’t true.” A child or an angry ex-girlfriend might twist the truth into a lie. A tickle becomes molestation; a hug is lechery. He knows firsthand that children do lie.

It is important that you and your attorney are familiar with the more infamous cases of the 80′s and 90′s. Glenney and Lindahl are going to use the tiresome redirect that children do not make false claims of abuse. If Detective Wayne Promisel is involved in your case, he will parrot exactly what they  say. Educate yourself so you can counter this false argument.
