Sometimes what you don’t say is as important , if not more,  than what you do say.  Specifically, I am referring to judicial evaluations.  Virginia is one of the very few states where the legislators appoint candidates to the bench.  Along with this, the legislators highly value the opinion of the local bar associations and other committees in making the various appointments.

It does a good job of listing the details of the case, such as child suggestibility and manipulation by the other parent, It would have been useful if the article mentioned that Lorrie Sinclair was involved as the opposing counsel. Lorrie Sinclair, Sandra Glenney – They love junk science. Another very concerning aspect of the possibility of Ms. Sinclair becoming a judge is her association with Sandra Glenney and her embrace of junk science.  During Ms. Sinclair’s assignment’s as a Guardian Ad Litem, she will often work hand in hand with Sandra Glenney.  Sandra Glenney most definitely embraces junk science, in one case she was willing to use the services of Dr. Joyanna Silberg, past president of the ISSTD ( a fringe pseudo-scientific organization). Ms. Sinclair served as the GAL during the very same case and expressed no issues with pseudo-scientific mental health professionals.

Lorrie Sinclair isn’t worth $162,000 , the salary of a Circuit Judge in Loudoun. Hello readers, Loudoun County had a few developments this week. Most notably, Douglas Fleming Jr. was sworn in as the new Circuit Judge in Loudoun County; congratulations to the Honorable Douglas Fleming.  Congratulations to the delegates and senators who chose Fleming instead of Lorrie Sinclair.  Sinclair has failed twice to obtain the support of the delegates and senators; the citizens would be better off if Sinclair abandoned her judicial aspirations.
